Target much?

According to me,
I'm happy that I've been able to get some pictures of my outfits lately. I never have access to a photographer, but today my roommate and my boyfriend each snapped a few for me. This outfit is pretty standard for me; I pair sweaters+jeans+leather jacket+scarves a lot. It's just a comfortable and cute outfit. As you can see below, I was very much channeling Target for this outfit. And not to mention, I got these shoes on super sale! My makeup is the plum seduction quad from Clinique, and Revlon liquid liner.

Jacket: Target $30
Sweater: Gap $40
Jeggings: Target $20
Scarf: Target $12
Shoes: Target $25 $5
Rings: Forever 21 $4 each
Earrings: Forever 21 $2

And I had to throw in a few fun edits:

Stay loving.

According to me,
this is so exciting! I’ve finally reached 100 followers! Thank you all so much. I really appreciate that you visit often and comment. You shall not go unrewarded! I am on the lookout for an item to do my first ever giveaway! I will hopefully find something within the next couple week that I deem worthy of you. Details to come!
I’m quite busy today (I have 3 very long classes and an exam to study for), so I won’t get the opportunity to take a picture of my full outfit. But here’s the owl accessories that I’m wearing:

Also, I wanted to show you the floral headband I bought last Friday. I’m also wearing one of the Chaps sweaters I bought. My boyfriend snapped a picture for me last Saturday:

Again, thank you all so much for following. It means the world to me!
Stay thankful.

What a Steal

According to me,
this could be one of the best (if not THE best) purchases I've ever made. These shoes are amazing. I love them to death. And you know what the best part is? I only paid $20 for them. How awesome is that?
I went home for the night on Friday, and my mom took me to Khol's. I'm normally not much of a fan of Khol's, but she had a huge discount so I figured what the heck I'll go look. I'm very glad I did. Other than these shoes, I bought two sweaters, Chaps brand, that are to die for, and a floral headband.
And again, the best part? I didn't have to buy any of it! My mom surprised me by buying it all for me. Needless to say I was very grateful. Being the college student that I am, money is in short supply.
So thank you mother!
I'm posting the outfit that I wore my new boots with, I hope you approve. I also wore the necklace from Pitaya!
Dress: Target $15
Tights: Forever 21 $6
Sweater: Target $15
Necklace: Pitaya $15
Ring: Forever 21 $6
Bag: Vintage $2
Shoes: Khol's $70 $20
Makeup: Spicy quad from Clinique, black/brown quickliner, Covergirl Lashblast Mascara

Stay open.

Pitaya in Ann Arbor

According to me,
I should have visited this store sooner. They have great clothes, accessories, and shoes; and none of it is terribly expensive. I dropped by last night to explore with my friend. I took some pictures of stuff that I really liked. I really love that black and white dress, I almost bought it. And the pattern on that skirt was great. But, I ended up leaving with this necklace. I am in love with it. It's elegant, bold, and slightly edgy. I really love it and can't wait to pair it with a great strapless dress! I also stopped by Urban Outfitters and bought these sunglasses. I've never owned a gray pair, and I thought these were cute.
I took a picture of my outfit for the day. As you can see, I was being rather lazy. But it was really comfortable, and I had to go play volleyball afterwards. I'm wearing  dark skinny jeans, my brown boots (though you can't see them), a plain red crew neck sweatshirt, my leather jacket from Target, my blue and white striped scarf from Forever 21, and the sunglasses I posted about a few weeks ago.

Stay curious.

Free People Lookbook March 2011

According to me,
I've never seen clothes from this brand before, but I just stumbled upon their website. I really love it. I'm sure a lot of you have heard of them. A little out of my price range, but the clothes are beautiful. I grabbed the images from their March Lookbook for your viewing pleasure. I encourage you to check out the site; they have video for a lot of their clothes, it's really cool. My favorites are the second and the last one.

Vogue US March 2011: Punk'd

According to me,
I'm not one for the super punk look, but I really like this spread. The styling is intense and bold. I really love the model's hair. Her eyebrows look really cool too. My favorite picture is definitely the last one.

I was just awarded the Kreativ Blogger Award from The Vanity Lair. Thank you so much! I'm supposed to tell ten facts about myself, and pass the award on to 10 other bloggers (I'm only going to do 3 though).
  1. My favorite stores include Forever 21, H&M, Target, and Delia*s. But, I'd love to be able to shop at higher end and more expensive stores, like ASOS, TopShop, Nordstrom, Zara, and Fossil.
  2. Some of my favorite TV shows are America's Next Top Model, Dexter, Spartacus, and I Love Lucy.
  3. I love watching college hockey.
  4. I have a polar bear pillow pet named Monty.
  5. I love plain Cheerios.
  6. I love chocolate cake, but I don't really like vanilla cake.
  7. My favorite kind of tea is Earl Grey, but I also really like Chai and Constant Comment (which is orangey).
  8. My favorite season is fall because of all the colors, but I really adore summer. The beach is my favorite place to be.
  9. I'd love to get into filming short fashion films, but I don't know anything about it!
  10. My favorite sport is volleyball, and I'm currently on two intramural teams.
I want to give this award to:

Stay original.

One of Those Days

According to me,
today is one of those days. I'm not necessarily in a bad mood, but I'm not in a good mood. Just kind of ho-hum. And in my mind, the only cure for that kind of mood is some good shopping. I can't go today because I have to study for a big exam tomorrow, but I took some time to go online and find some cool stuff that I'd like to buy. I was given strict orders to spend my birthday money only on clothes and shoes. Needless to say, that made me happy and I have no problem complying. So most likely on Wednesday I will be heading to a little store in Ann Arbor called Pitaya. I'll bring my camera and take some pictures, then post about my experience there. I've heard good things about it, so I'm quite excited. Other than that, I'm just going to browse online and order a few things. Here are some of the things I really want. Which ones should I get?
