New Photo Studio

According to me,
or so I wish. I now have a good space as a semi-photo studio. My sister has been moved out for a while and her room has plain walls, so they make a good backdrop. I mind as well take advantage of it! She actually just started a makeup blog called Pigment Your Life. I took her header picture for her; here are my favorites that I took. Visit her blog to see which one she picked!
Oh, and here's a silly picture of me. I'm working on using the self timer with my lights; focusing is hard!

Neon White

According to me,
both neon and white are big right now. So, why no wear both (as I did here)? I adore this sweater; the loose fit and semi-pattern of the knitting are awesome. I paired them with these navy pants for work. These are one of my only pairs of pants that aren't jeans! Considering that above all else I like to wear dresses and skirts :) This neon pink tank is always fun to wear; and it brings out my tan (what little of it there is at least!).

I had my first day actually selling things at work today. Man, is that stressful! Approaching people is definitely the hardest part for me, but I think I'll get better with lots of practice. I did sell some stuff! Yay me! I'm pretty sure I'm going to buy a gold watch today - it's gorgeous and I love it. Hopefully I'll have it to show you tomorrow!

On another note, it was blisteringly hot today! I was outside all morning cheering my parents on at their races. My mom ran her first 10K and my dad ran his first half marathon! I'm so proud of them both!

P.S. My ankle ISN'T healed yet :( I know my brace isn't in the pictures, but I still have to wear it outside. Otherwise I would stop wearing the same shoes every day! It's so frustrating!!

Smoky

According to me,
this is my version of a work appropriate smoky eye. I obviously don't want super dark with lots of liner for work; it's just too much. So I used the same shades a would for a heavier smoky look, but applied them lighter. What do you think? Enough smoke or too little?

Olive Panther

According to me,
I wear this skirt+belt paring too much. But how can I resist? I love it. The skirt probably isn't the most flattering, but I really love the design of it. And this belt is one of my current obsessions, if you couldn't tell. I'm also wearing 3 new charm necklaces I have. Two were posted before, but the panther one is new. I didn't get the opportunity for a good close up, but I know I'll wear it again for you to see.

Bold Gold

According to me,
I'm happy I bought these earrings. Or, picked them out; courtesy of my boyfriend :) They go really well with this dress which I've had for quite a while, but it's always great to wear. I love the studs on the waist.
Also pictured is the current stack of magazines that I'm drooling over. I'm pretty sure I have a magazine addiction, I can't get enough.
