According to me,
Miranda Kerr admittedly has great style. Although we all hate her for having such a gorgeous body and being a VS model, you have to love her for her natural beauty and great outfits. I've pulled together a few that I've really been liking lately. They've definitely been inspiring me! Not that I've worn great clothes lately; it's finals week for me and I'm swamped!
I love the way she rocks skinny jeans with an assortment of great tops and fun shoes. She definitely isn't afraid to rock multiple statement pieces at once and always has a great balance to her looks. So, as a break from studying, here's some eye candy.

The Oscars 2012
According to me,
obviously we've all been obsessing over the dresses from the Oscars since the moment it started. But of course I've got to say what I loved the most. I thought everyone looked great; there weren't any awful looks this year. But, there were really some stunning dresses. My personal favorites include Angelina Jolie in Versace (I think my favorite part was the killer smile and overdose of leg), Emma Stone in Giambattista Vitalli and Louis Vuitton (that color red was fantastic with her skin), Kristen Wiig in J. Mendel and Neil Lane (she just look stunning. Perfect dress for her.), and Shailene Woodley in Valentino and Harry Winston (did not expect her to look so chic!). But, I think my favorite look has to be Gwenyth Paltrow in Tom Ford. Gwenyth is definitely one of my style icons. She always looks chic, streamline, and glamorous. I was so excited to see that she was the cover of Harper's Bazaar Spring Fashion issue. I look forward to seeing her article and photos based on the cover; it should be fantastic.
So here's all the photos of my favorite looks. Let me know what you guys think and what your favorite look was!
Also, I know I haven't blogged in FOREVER, but I promise to be better. School has been crazy, so I haven't had a lot of time. But, get excited to read my review of a Hana flat iron sent to me by Misikko! It'll be the first time I've had straight hair on the blog!

A Maje Halloween
According to me,
Halloween was very fun this year. I dressed up as Rachel Zoe, of course. Was there any other option? I used all of my own clothes and went out and bought a blonde wig. A few people didn't even recognize me! And obviously, not many people knew who I was. But I loved it!
By the way, how amazing is the faux fur vest from Forever 21? I adore it.

Channeling Zoe
According to me,
I was very much channeling Rachel Zoe this morning. I threw on a wide-brimmed hat (not as cool as hers), and gave myself a colored lip. Her outfits are always killer. I've been watching The Rachel Zoe Project a lot recently. It's so addicting!

Fashion Icon: Blake Lively
According to me,
this post was originally done on May 11 2011, but I'm reposting it now because Blogger had some technical difficulties.
I love Blake Lively, she has great style. Not only is she insanely gorgeous, but she has some imperfections that she pulls off well. Her hairline is crazy! But her hair always looks luscious and beautiful. I've also noticed she tends to purse her lips most of the time; but, her smile is still amazing.
Here are some of my favorite outfits from her, and one I put together that's inspired by her. I'd love to wear this soon, but the weather has been insanely hot, so I don't think I'll be wearing a black T with a blazer any time soon!

The Met Gala
According to me,
this is a few days late, but oh well. These are some of the dresses I loved from the night. My favorites were definitely Blake Lively, Diane Kruger, Dianna Agron, Emma Stone, and Gwyneth Paltrow. Everyone looked amazing; I'd love to go to something like this! And, of course, the McQueen exhibit (Savage Beauty) was breathtaking.

Icon: Audrey Hepburn
According to me,
Audrey Hepburn is one of the most influential figures in the fashion world. She has a classic style that will forever affect clothing choices. From Breakfast at Tiffany's to Roman Holiday, her style is timeless. The most common character she portrays is Ms. Holly Golightly, the spunky and always fashionable escort who falls in love with George Peppard. Hepburn's iconic dresses in Breakfast at Tiffany's define the "little black dress." She also uses accessories, such as hats, gloves, and jewelry to her extreme advantage. Her hair is always minimal and effortless, but still chic. She gives meaning to the strong brow. She rocks the winged liner and red lips. She has what every fashionista aspires to obtain, a permanent place and influence in the fashion world. I've created a couple looks that I think correctly channel her style. Also, I just bought a big poster for my dorm room that features Audrey Hepburn; it's for everyday inspiration. Enjoy :)
