Photo Shooting

According to me,
it's been way too long since I've done a photo shoot! I really love to do fashion shoots. It lets me be creative and have fun with it. I really want to start doing a variety of different models because currently, I only use my friends.
Do you guys have any tips on how to collaborate with other models? Or, if you're in Michigan at all, would you want to be a model? Any suggestions help!
Here's a shoot I did with someone you've all seen before. She's appeared on this blog more than once before. She died her hair a nice red color, so at least it's a bit different than usual!

Wash It Out

According to me,
this photo shoot originally involved only myself and one friend. But, word got out.
So, it ended up being me, three girls, and a guy. Zack has already appeared on here, and so has my sister. But the other two are new.
It was a lot of fun; I styled them and took the photos. My sister did the makeup. I did the hair too! I was proud of myself haha. I was definitely feeling the washed out look. Less color is more in my mind. There are more posted on my facebook page, but these are a few I really like.

Oh, and yes. Some of the stuff there wearing are my clothes haha. Gotta reuse!

Sunny White

According to me,
this shirt is so comfortable. I adore it. Plus, it makes me think of this post; that was the day I finally discovered how the heck to do my hair! Took me long enough haha. But really, the whole process of doing my hair will always be changing. Nothing ever works for more than 3 or 4 months.
Anyways, this was my comfy outfit for visiting my sister with my mom. We went out to lunch then hit up the big mall by where she lives. I got a great headband and AMAZING sunglasses. Those will definitely be shown soon.
I have a photo shoot coming up on Tuesday. Let's hope for good weather and great photos!

New Photo Studio

According to me,
or so I wish. I now have a good space as a semi-photo studio. My sister has been moved out for a while and her room has plain walls, so they make a good backdrop. I mind as well take advantage of it! She actually just started a makeup blog called Pigment Your Life. I took her header picture for her; here are my favorites that I took. Visit her blog to see which one she picked!
Oh, and here's a silly picture of me. I'm working on using the self timer with my lights; focusing is hard!

Boys Boys Boys

According to me,
guys' can have some pretty cool fashion also. My best friend and boyfriend took me shopping today to pick out new clothes for them. They're both very low maintenance but still want to look good, so I picked out some easy and versatile pieces for them to wear. I know the first and second outfits are rather similar, but different patterned and colored button downs serve a guy well. My favorite item was the white shorts - they both bought a pair. After, they liked the clothes so much that they said they'd pose for a few photos for me. So here they are!
Plus, added photos of new buys and current favorites.

Impromptu Photo Shoot

According to me,
my friend Allison Kay and I had an impromptu photo shoot on Thursday that turned out terrificly. She was already wearing a great shirt and some cool earrings, so we just went with it. I had her put on some makeup and we went out into a small park in our neighborhood while the sun was getting low. Her hair was originally up in this gorgeous messy bun, but once I got some good shots of it, I had her take it out and bring all her hair to one side. How amazing does it look? How I wish I could do that with my hair!
 I really love how these turned out, I've put more up on my facebook page so definitely go check them out there too. I have some other shoots with her up on there also. Let me know what you think of these, I love them!

Pink Lips and Blonde Hair

According to me,
this lip color works so well on her. These are of my sister. I styled her and took the pictures. Someone suggested in a comment that I post some more pictures, so I'm going to do so. The last one is my favorite; I love her eyes. Let me know what you think of these! I'll post more when I get the chance :)

Street Style

According to me,
this outfit rocks. My friend Allison Kay and I decided to do a photo shoot today, and this was the outstanding product. She's wearing home-made shorts from Abercrombie, a white tank top from Target, a blue collared blouse from Walmart, a navy blue blazer by Isaac Mizrahi, a multi-stranded necklace from Forever 21, earrings from a Hallmark store, an owl ring from Forever 21, a black rose ring from Target, and a black leather bag from H&M. I picked out her outfit and did her hair, and my sister did her makeup (she works for Clinique). Allison Kay is a model and I use her often :) We loved how the shoot turned out, I took about 400 pictures.
