Hello Bow

According to me,
some days I just want to have fun. Apparently in my mind, fun means wearing a giant pink bow.
But be honest, who doesn't want to look like Hello Kitty? She's rather amazing.

So I'll throw this out there: bust or must? I work this to work. Some people probably thought I was insane. But it was fun!

Today I went to an outlet mall with my mom and grandma. Oh boy. I broke the rules for my monthly budget BIG time. You'll hear more about it soon (but in my opinion, it was all worth it!).

To reuse or not to reuse; that is the question.

According to me,
I'm the queen of repeating pieces. I'm pretty sure you've all seen everything in this outfit except the clutch and earrings. But, when on a budget, do we really have an option?
For me, reusing is OK. I try not to repeat outfits, but I recombine the same pieces in many ways. I'm a college student with not a lot of money to spend, so I really have no other choice. When I shop for new pieces, I go for things that will work with a lot of stuff I already have. I'll buy a statement piece every once in a while, such as my nautical maxi skirt, but sometimes it's more cost effective to purchase something that will match many other things.
Is it bad that I reuse pieces very often or should I buy more to add to the mix. I'd love an honest opinion on this! Or, if you have any tips and tricks on mixing and reinventing pieces, I'd love for you to share.

Bust or Must: Purple Shine

According to me,
I've had this skirt for about three years, but have only worn it about three times total. I've always been very unsure how I feel about it. I love the color, but the shine and fit throw me off sometimes. What do you think?
I paired it with a plain white shirt and this black belt with the same sheen. I love the bow, so I thought what the heck let's put it around my neck!
So really, bust or must? Which outfit do you like better? Or do you like neither?

P.S. I know my hair is a mess! These were taken after a long and humid day haha.

According to me,
I've always loved how this looks on girls, but I'm not sure I got it right. This is my boyfriend's shirt and I paired it with this vintage leather belt. I think it's a bit big on me. What do you think? Is this a bust or a must??

Bust or Must: Floral Head Scarf

According to me,
I'm going out on a limb here. I wanted to try a different type of feature, so I came up with "Bust or Must." I try something totally new that I've never worn before, and I want all of you to tell me if it's a bust or a must. Be honest! If it's a bust, I want to know! I don't want to walk around town wearin' a bust! So be honest, I'm all ears.

Today I chose to try a floral head scarf. I've been toying with the idea of wearing scarves on my head somehow, and this is what I came up with today. The scarf is vintage Express, I think I got it for 50 cents! I love tying it on bags or around my neck, but why not try it with a middle part and some bright lipstick? By the way, the lipstick is Glazed Berry from Clinique.
