The Oscars 2012

According to me,
obviously we've all been obsessing over the dresses from the Oscars since the moment it started. But of course I've got to say what I loved the most. I thought everyone looked great; there weren't any awful looks this year. But, there were really some stunning dresses. My personal favorites include Angelina Jolie in Versace (I think my favorite part was the killer smile and overdose of leg), Emma Stone in Giambattista Vitalli and Louis Vuitton (that color red was fantastic with her skin), Kristen Wiig in J. Mendel and Neil Lane (she just look stunning. Perfect dress for her.), and Shailene Woodley in Valentino and Harry Winston (did not expect her to look so chic!). But, I think my favorite look has to be Gwenyth Paltrow in Tom Ford. Gwenyth is definitely one of my style icons. She always looks chic, streamline, and glamorous. I was so excited to see that she was the cover of Harper's Bazaar Spring Fashion issue. I look forward to seeing her article and photos based on the cover; it should be fantastic.

Photo Shooting

According to me,
it's been way too long since I've done a photo shoot! I really love to do fashion shoots. It lets me be creative and have fun with it. I really want to start doing a variety of different models because currently, I only use my friends.
Do you guys have any tips on how to collaborate with other models? Or, if you're in Michigan at all, would you want to be a model? Any suggestions help!
Here's a shoot I did with someone you've all seen before. She's appeared on this blog more than once before. She died her hair a nice red color, so at least it's a bit different than usual!

Resolutions

According to me,
I hope you all had a wonderful and safe new year's eve! Happy new year! 2012 is going to be a great one.
Here are my new year's resolutions:

1. Eat better and exercise (but isn't that everyone's? haha)
2. Spend less money on frivolous things, save it for important stuff
3. Cook and bake more often
4. Clean out my closet and give away clothes and shoes I don't wear anymore
5. Have a good time and relax more!

Dark Lips and Mustard Sweaters

According to me,
I love the color of this sweater. It definitely calls for a deep colored lip. I used A Different Grape from Clinique.  This sweater was among my Christmas gifts. I also got Sperry snow boots, a crock pot and cook book, and a new camera! It's a Rebel T3i and I am IN LOVE with it. My old camera was 8 megapixels, and this one has a whopping 18 megapixels. I absolutely adore it.

Christmas Spirit

According to me,
this shirt really puts me in the Christmas mood. I love how bright it is. Not a true red, but more of a vibrant shade. I paired it with gold accessories to make it look more festive.
