Makeup Inspiration

According to me,
I love doing makeup, but I've never been one to go crazy. But, I picked up the magazine for Makeup Store this weekend and fell in love with it. I would love to be able to do makeup like that! Here are pictures I took of my favorite spread. I really love the picture with the wide-brimmed hat. The photography for this whole spread is great.
This spread served as my inspiration for makeup today. Not exact, but I think it's pretty fun. Definitely something new!

Boys Boys Boys

According to me,
guys' can have some pretty cool fashion also. My best friend and boyfriend took me shopping today to pick out new clothes for them. They're both very low maintenance but still want to look good, so I picked out some easy and versatile pieces for them to wear. I know the first and second outfits are rather similar, but different patterned and colored button downs serve a guy well. My favorite item was the white shorts - they both bought a pair. After, they liked the clothes so much that they said they'd pose for a few photos for me. So here they are!

this won't be a huge post, but I couldn't wait to tell all of you! I just got hired by Fossil! I'm extremely excited. I go in for my first day today!

I've been so busy lately! I had a job interview today at Fossil, so let's hope I get the job. But for today I'm just giving a little inspiration. These are some photos I really love from recent editorials.

Homemade Clutch

According to me,
I used to love sewing, but haven't had time for it in a few years. But, I've really been wanting a leather clutch, so I decided to make one. It didn't turn out exactly as I had hope though. I wanted a longer and more rectangular shape, but I was scissor happy and it became more of a square. I like the color I chose though, especially pairing it with this skirt. What do you guys think?
Oh, I'm going to the beach today :) So excited!

Neon Fun

According to me,
I was in the mood to be crazy today. Hence, the bright neon pants and out of the ordinary posing. I actually just set up my tripod and did all the pictures on my own, a first! But, I apparently tend to put my hands on my head...not sure why haha.
So I chose these crazy pants and paired them with plain white. I actually would have preferred pairing it with a camel or light brown, but I don't own anything brown haha. I liked adding gold accessories, especially the new gold watch I have. Does it work? No haha. I got it from the Salvation Army for $3. You could possibly consider this vintage. I really wanted a gold watch, and this will suffice for now. What I REALLY want is a gold Michael Kors watch. We can all dream.

Camera

According to me,
it must have been fate when I decided to wear this necklace today. I found out that I was hired as the official photographer for the Honors Program at my college for next year! I'm so excited! I'm a real photographer now :)
Here's the outfit I wore, pretty basic. Gotta love the camera necklace.
Update on the ankle: it's doing much better, only a little sore. I have to wear the brace full time for only one more month! And, a shout out to my boyfriend who starts his internship tomorrow; good luck!
